More comedy and concerts coming to Beaver Creek this winter

Vilar Performing Arts Center announces more shows to the 2024-2025 winter lineup

Comedian Kevin Nealon will bring the laughs to the Vilar Performing Arts Center on Mar. 21.

The Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek recently announced more concerts and comedy acts that are coming this winter. A few weeks ago, the intimate theater in Beaver Creek released the dates for upcoming shows such at “Dirty Dancing in Concert,” “Mania: The ABBA Tribute,” the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen” and more along with dance, classical offerings and family programming. Tickets are already on sale for these shows at . Here are some highlights for the upcoming acts.

Concerts

Live from Laurel Canyon Presents James & Joni: Their Stories, Their Songs – Sat., Jan. 18

“James & Joni: Their Stories, Their Songs” chronicles the careers of two songwriting icons: James Taylor and Joni Mitchell presented in the style of Live from Laurel Canyon with narrated stories about their lives and the songs you know and love.



“Live from Laurel Canyon – Songs and Stories of American Folk Rock” delivers insights of the famous singers and songwriters who lived just up from Sunset Boulevard in the mid 1960s and 70s. The stories of these famous musicians unfold during these shows and the music of two American songwriting icons, James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, will be performed at the Vilar Performing Arts Center on Jan. 18.

Marcus King: An Intimate Acoustic Evening featuring Drew Smithers – Fri., Jan. 24

Songwriter. Guitarist. Singer. Bandleader. At only 20 years of age, Marcus King’s dazzling musical ability is evident. With a fiery brand of American roots music that King calls “soul-influenced psychedelic southern rock,” his rough-hewn vocals, soaring guitar work and heartfelt songwriting is quickly making him one of the most sought after live acts in the country.

JJ Grey & Mofro: Olustee Tour – Fri., Jan. 31
