I-70 reopens following rollover
Both lanes of westbound Interstate 70 and one lane of eastbound traffic shut down between Eagle and Wolcott due to a motor vehicle accident, according to an Eagle County Alert Monday, Sept. 16 around 12:45 p.m. The roadway reopened around 1:30 p.m.
Colorado State Patrol said a call came in at 12:37 p.m. Monday that a car traveling east rolled over through the median into the westbound lanes. The driver had serious injuries, but no available information indicated they had been transported to a hospital.
